è una proposta di escursionismo naturalistico di “Prenditempo” finalizzata all’avvistamento di fauna selvatica.

Nata grazie all’esperienza dello staff di “Prenditempo” ed in collaborazione con la professionalità di Luca Pellicioli, veterinario esperto faunista, l’attività proposta si pone come obiettivo la riscoperta della magia delle montagna attraverso l’avvistamento di animali selvatici con particolare riferimento agli ungulati selvatici come cervi camosci e stambecchi.

Periodo: Settembre – Ottobre.
Durata: 1 giornata

con possibilità di esternarla a 2 giorni grazie al pernottamento in quota.

Località di partenza: Vezza d’oglio

(alta valle camonica – BS).

Caratteristiche tecniche:

L’itinerario si snoda, all’interno del Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio, lungo un facile sentiero che permette di raggiungere in circa 3 ore il Bivacco Saverio Occhi posto a quota 2100 metri con un dislivello complessivo di 900 metri. Lungo il percorso è presente acqua e punti di sosta attrezzati per pranzare e per avvistamenti. Abbigliamento indispensabile consigliato: scarpe/scarponcini da trekking, zaino 20 litri, pile termico, macchina fotografica e binocolo.

Durante l’itinerario gli accompagnatori sapranno fornire gli insegnamenti fondamentali riguardanti gli aspetti della sicurezza in montagna e quelli relativi agli aspetti faunistici. L’itinerario descritto potrà subire variazioni in funzione delle condizioni meteo.

Possibilità su richiesta di eseguire una conferenza di presentazione prima dello svolgimento dell’escursione.

Specifications:

The route winds, in the Stelvio National Park, along a path that allows you to easily reach in about 3 hours Bivouac Xavier Eyes situated at an altitude 2100 meters with a gradient of 900 meters. Along the way water is present and points of rest for lunch and sightings. Clothing essential recommended: shoes / trekking boots, backpack 20 l, thermal batteries, camera and binoculars.

During the excursion the tour leader will provide the basic teachings regarding aspects of safety in the mountains and those aspects relating to wildlife.The itinerary described is subject to change depending on weather conditions

If requested there is the opportunity to have a conference presentation before the holding of the excursion.

Above the village of Valbondione in the Upper Valley Seriana, (Province of Bergamo), the borough of Maslana is one of the oldest of the Valley, dating back to year 1400 A.D. During the centuries, it maintained the distinctive and original look of a typical alpine settlement.

Located at 1200 meters above the sea level (3360 feet), Maslana has four main areas connected by nice footpaths, set through the meadows and surrounded by hedges of roses.

In the summertime, it is very easy for excursionists to see ibexes. These big and peaceful animals come down from the mountain to search for food. They are not bothered by the passage of people, so it is possible to shoot great photos.

Our guided excursion to Maslana will allow you to visit these pristine areas and enjoy their breathtaking sceneries, surrounded by unspoilt nature.

The access to the borough is very easy and requires no more than 30-minute walk from the parking areas. Thanks to the exposure to the sun, it is possible to visit Maslana in the four seasons. Even in winter, except in cases of exceptional snow, the climb is quite easy. According to the fitness and the will of excursionists, the hike can end in Maslana or continue. We can take you up to the spectacular waterfalls of Serio River (30 min. walk), or to some of the most famous rifugios of the region: Coca, (1892 mt, 5300 ft, 1.30 hrs walk), Curò (1895 mt, 5300 ft, 2 hrs walk), and Barbellino, (2130 mt, 6250 ft, 3 hrs walk).
