The excursion takes place among vineyards, castles and historical villages in the western Bergamo flatlands, famous for Valcalepio red wines. The route (dirt and asphalt) unrolls among the villages of Grumello del Monte, Chiuduno, Telgate and Bolgare.
The bike excursion follows the Seriana Valley cycle path up to Vertova village . Then the road rises for about 4 kms inside the green nature of Vertova valley. Got off bicycles, the excursion goes on with a walk on a historical muletrack alongside the fresh pools and waterfalls of Vertova creek. Here hikers can cool off in the clear water before the return way..
This route starts through the vineyards of Calepio valley. From Trescore it follows a bicycle path to Lake Endine. A hilly road rides along the green coasts of this quiet alpine lake. After lake Endine a steep uphill takes to Solto Collina village. Here a fast downhill takes to the wonderful rocky coasts of Lake Iseo.
This challenging excursion allows you to ride in the alpine beauty of Taleggio valley. The area is famous for exquisite Taleggio cheese, for natural landscapes (particularly its canyons) and for small, beautiful alpine villages. It’s mostly a mountain ride, fit for trained excursionists.
Challenging and classic excursion. From Bergamo up to Nembro, Seriana Valley. From Nembro starts the Selvino’s uphill, one of the most appreciated uphill in Bergamo’s surroundings (11 kms long, 640 mts of vertical climb, average steep 5,8%). It’s the right excursion to test your training.
This route unrolls in the eastern lowlands of Bergamo area. The excursion rides through agricultural areas, medieval boroughs and castles. This tour takes excursionists to Costa di Mezzate, Malpaga Castle, Urgnano borough.
The excursion takes completely place on the cycle path along Seriana Valley, one of the most important subalpine valleys in Bergamo area. The route (dirt and asphalt) unrolls beside the natural landscapes of Serio river, and reaches the touristic alpine village named Clusone.
The Val Brembana Cycle Path unrolls on an old railway track. Narrow and nicely enlightened tunnels, amazing views over Brembo River, takes excursionist through the villages of S. Pellegrino Terme and S.G. Bianco. A short diversion is foregone, to visit the perfectly kept medieval borough of Cornello dei Tasso.
The excursion takes riders from Bergamo to Valtellina (Sondrio area) through San Marco Pass (1992 mts.), the highest pass in Bergamo Area. After the beautiful Val Brembana cycle path a mountain u-turned road climb to the pass (18 kms, 7,9% average steep, 1429 mts of vertical climb). From the pass an amazing and exciting downhill takes to the village of Morbegno.
This challenging excursion takes riders to climb the long Zambla Pass uphill (14 kms, 5,8% average steep, 816 mts vertical climb). Then a nice downhill road twists through forests and small mountain villages. Here another climb takes excursionists to the mountain village of Selvino (12 kms, 4,5% average steep, 537 mts vertical climb). From Selvino an exciting u-turn downhill takes to Nembro and then a few flat kms to Bergamo .
