Cycling in Lombardy is something more than a passion. To some extent we can say it is a faith: the love for cycling in fact, turned in a peculiar kind of popular devotion which occurred by the dedication of some religious place for the protection of cyclist.

Our tour will led you into Bergamo, Lecco and Como areas, where you’ll have the chance to enter in touch with their atmospheres, their beautiful landscapes, their people and their typical food and wines.

The tour will start in Bergamo, with its marvellous walled medieval town. Here you’ll cycle for a couple of days up and down into the nature of the Orobie Pre-Alps mountain. During our tour we will visit the factory of the italian most famous bicycle brand “Bianchi”, where you’ll have the chance to meet Bianchi’s C.E.O. named Isaia who will introduce you to the secret of bike building and of Bianchi history.

Another outstanding place we’ll cycle through is the Adda River Valley, where Leonardo Da Vinci lived for several years and where he projected some of his hydraulic engineering oeuvres (some of them are still working, such as the astoundingly ferry which crosses the river moved only by a man’s arm strength). The last days of your holyday will be spent on the spectacular coasts of Lake Como, an exclusive and amazing place embedded into the severe beauty of Alps mountains.
